The Community Bankers of Iowa ’ s Leaders of Tomorrow ( LOT ) program held their Annual Leadership Development Summit on April 12 , 2013 at the Renaissance Savery Hotel in Des Moines .

The next generation of community banking leadership heard from current bank presidents and how they have succeeded during the Presidents ’ Panel . Panelists included Kurt Henstorf , President of First Heritage Bank in Shenandoah ; Rod Rowland , President and CEO of Landmands Bank in Audubon ; and Dale Torpey , former President of Federation Bank in Washington . Iowa Superintendent of Banking , Jim Schipper also provided a review of banking in Iowa .
