We do that using a variety of communications vehicles, and have implemented new publications including Common Cents, a weekly e-newsletter sent each Friday, monthly Consumer Tips, suitable for bank newsletters or newspaper columns, and Regulatory News, a monthly digest of regulatory items of interest to community bankers. In addition, we continue to publish a monthly hard copy newsletter, BANKER UPDATE that covers a variety of subjects which you are reading right now. We are pleased to provide these publications to you as a member and encourage you to add other bankers in your bank to our contact lists. Because of the rising costs of postage, paper and printing, we would like to ask your help in reducing waste and cost by receiving your monthly Banker Update in an electronic format. We use a magazine publishing format rather than a PDF that allows you to display the newsletter on your screen, turn pages, zoom in and out and, if desired, print selected pages. If you would like to try it out just go to our webpage and take a look. Please take a moment to help save some trees, and add additional bankers to the newsletter list by completing the “Save a Tree and Pass the Word” form on page 15 of this newsletter, then fax the entire page to us at 515-453-1498. We and the forest thank you.
