Network With Community Bankers Learn About Card Risk Management and the Iowa Ag Economy at the Community Bank Spring 2014 Summits The Community Bankers of Iowa invites you to attend the Community Bank Summits and network with other like-minded bankers. The Community Bank Spring Summits are heading east this year and will be held April 22nd at Isle Casino Hotel in Waterloo and on April 23rd at Riverside Casino and Golf Resort in Riverside. Summits begin at 3:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:30 p.m. Keynote speaker at both Summit locations is Alan Nevels, Senior Vice President at ICBA Bancard. Nevels’ responsibilities include managing Bancard’s Fraud Loss Protection Program and consulting with members in the area of risk management. Nevels has over two decades of experience in the card industry with a concentration in card risk management. Alan will be presenting at the Spring Community Bank Summits on security breach best practices to help guard against the recent fallout and future attacks. At the Waterloo meeting on the 22nd, Mike Naig, Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, will speak on the ag economy in Iowa, and Denny Bell, Manager of Fertilizer Dealer Supply will discuss ag business conditions and the future outlook. At the Riverside location on the 23rd, Ryan Drolette, Farm Management Specialist from ISU will provide statistics on the ag economy in Iowa, and Joel Brinkmeyer, CEO of Agribusiness Association of Iowa will be presenting an ag industry update. Steve Johnson, Farm Management Specialist from ISU will also discuss the new farm bill and policy at both the Waterloo and Riverside meetings.
