There are many communities with many people but are those people actually a community. There are many reasons people don’t communicate with their neighborhood but not doing that could make you lose or never get critical information.People live in a geographic community but do not actually try to communicate. Social interactions might be valued as weird or annoying to some and nice and polite to other that can be a reason for less to almost no social contact with the neighbors around them or could actually cause hatred amongst each other. These communication values could be enhanced by apartments or dehanced by singular yarded homes.
People don’t know about the dumping of toxic chemicals because of themselves, their neighborhood, Motorola company, and the government. All of these components are the causes of lack of knowledge on this problem. Some people might blame it on government or the company but leaves themselves out. It is the people’s fault they are the ones who has the power to bond as a community and share news or they could just try to find out news themselves. The Motorola company is also at blame (first because of dumping) they should have notified the neighborhood around the dumping. The government gets some of the blame too, their job is to protect us and notify the people of problems or just plan news. The EPA(environmental protection agency) which is a part of the government could of notified people especially because that is there job.
Sometimes saying why people are to blame it will be good to say what could have been preventing them to give/find information on this problem. The people of the community could be to shy, secret, or too aggressive to come together and meet. Most people don’t want to waste time on a busy schedule to try to find news in a community they let the news tell them it, but they might miss the important news they were looking for.
