Toxic waste is a hassle to clean like lakes but more work. Have you ever been to a dirty lake and saw someone cleaning then go back the next day and it’s still dirty. That’s like the Motorola toxic waste dumping , it was ignored till it got really bad then is slowly getting clean. Beijing, China and Arizona, America both have clean lake problems as also toxic waste problem. China and America are both immense countries with lots of people and that is what causes problems and fix them also.
Chinese and American lakes are dirty and is hard to clean when there are many people. Chinese lakes are polluted by factories/companies and also local residents. One day there were more than 2,000 dead pigs floating in the Shanghai River which is the main water source of over 23 million people in Shanghai. These lake pollutants cause cancer villages which are an area that has a high risk of cancer. We all have our problems and sometimes our problem could be a river full but at some point someone will try to fix it.
This lake pollution is an example of the Motorola toxic waste dumping. They both have been building up the strength of toxic waste till they really needed to be clean. They both are toxic (and can cause cancer) and are still affecting people today. These two toxic waste areas are very harmful and deadly. Coming in contact with these areas could cause sickness or death.
The difference between these two toxic areas are that the Motorola dumping is more harmful then the lake polluting. People are actually drinking the toxic lake water which the effects are quicker than the Motorola dumping. The dumping effects are over a long period of time like years, but have more and dangerous effects then the polluted lake. The Motorola toxic waste has seeped underground into ground water which we might need in the future and the lakes is needed now to give fresh water the people who need it and can be touched by people.
These two different countries both have a great amount of people living in them and have big problems like waste, pollution, and population. The problems might seem big but with alot of people it could be fixed.Waste and pollution is a problem but knowing it and coming together to fix it is already fixing it. The more people knowing/trying to fix it the better it is. Awareness, help, team, and fixing are some words that if all came together could make a whole lot of good.
