Safety & Security Vests

If you remember way back to last fall when we had the evacuation drill, the police discovered that there was no real way to distinguish between staff evacuating and a potential shooter. The recommendation was to have staff wear safety vests. This also allows our students to easily recognize staff in the event of an emergency. Located in room 134, adjacent to the AV room, are vests that are to be placed in the backpacks. Please grab how many ever vests are needed as it's my understanding that there are times when more than one person shares the backpack (understandably). Please pay attention to size as there are a couple to choose keeping in mind they may need to go over a winter jacket if we ever evacuated during the winter months. Please let Andrew Sarnow know if you have any questions or concerns. Safety First @ HUHS!
