INNOVATION DEN PODS REVIEW
In another first for Health + Care delegates were offered an
unprecedented opportunity to browse Innovation Den ‘pods’.
Located around the Innovation Den, these exhibition space pods
have been specifically designed for small or start-up
organisations, and as a result attracted a wide range of
businesses, including from outside the UK. The close association
with the Innovation Den presentations very quickly proved its
worth as exhibitors found themselves benefiting from pre- and
post-presentation visitor traffic. Exhibitors such as Jamie
Lawrence from Titan Healthcare summed up the thoughts of
other pod exhibitors by describing them as a “fantastic idea” and
perfectly positioned for small start-ups. The following companies
and products made their debut on the 2015 innovation pods:
PCH projects
PCH projects is a healthcare project
and programme management
consultancy company, now offering
a half-day project management
course and toolkit for beginners in
project management. The course
and toolkit cover the basic principles
of project management, using
project management tools and
project planning. Courses run in five
locations across England, between
July-September. Projects already
successfully managed by PCH
include transitions from NHS trust to
foundation trust, new GP surgeries,
managing b id responses,
development of approvable
business cases, and feasibility
studies.

Making its show debut at

commission epilepsy services.

commissioning tool include business
case, service specification, service
model and implementation support.
