Multiple Connections
n a world of increasingly virtual connections, CCIM Insti-
tute is committed to providing multiple venues for members
to meet clients and colleagues face-to-face. CCIM Institute
recognizes the value of facilitating personal interactions for
its members at both a national and international level.
One of the best venues is CCIM Institute’s prominent exhibit
booth at ICSC RECon in Las Vegas, May 22–24, with plenty
of tables for CCIM designees to meet with their clients and to
showcase the CCIM brand. More than 37,000
attendees, 1,200 exhibitors, and participants
from 58 countries are expected to attend the
premier international conference for the retail
industry. At the CCIM exhibit booth, CCIMs
also can attend a cocktail reception to meet more
participants and STDB demonstrations to learn
new applications.
In March, CCIM leaders met with many
global industry participants at MIPIM, March
14–17, in Cannes, France. With 24,000 participants from more
than 100 countries, cultivating relationships allows CCIM lead-
ers to facilitate global business opportunities for our members.
At the annual CCIM Institute Midyear Governance Meet-
ings, April 1–5, in Chicago, 164 new CCIM designees were
pinned, adding to recent CCIM designee pinning ceremonies
that included 52 in China; 31 in South Korea; 35 in Taiwan;
and 28 in Japan. In addition to committee meetings, instructor
training, and networking events, CCIM held interactive sessions
and a museum exhibit celebrating CCIM’s 50 years, highlighting
the Institute’s groundbreaking training and technology through
the years.
Our strategic alliance with ALM — publishers of Real Estate
Forum magazine and GlobeSt.com, as well as organizers of
RealShare conferences — continued with a cover feature in Real
Estate Forum’s 2017 January/February issue highlighting 50 years
of CCIM Institute and what the future may bring.
Facilitating national and international networking opportuni-
ties while promoting the CCIM designation continues to take
priority as CCIM Institute celebrates its 50th anniversary year.
We hope members take advantage of these golden opportunities
to enhance their businesses.
