Forging strategic partnerships and strengthening the promotion
of the CCIM designation brand are some of the ways the CCIM
Institute seeks to enhance the value of your membership.
By using funds from CCIM Institute’s Designation Promotion
Matching Grant for CCIM chapters, the New York Metro CCIM
Chapter hosted a sold-out networking breakfast discussion on April
14 at the New York Stock Exchange. Th e event, with more than 100
CCIMs participating, featured a discussion of economic and real
estate trends with Ted Jones, chief economist at Stewart Title, and
Jim Costello, senior vice president at Real Capital Analytics.
Nationally, CCIM Institute promoted the CCIM brand to more
than 1,000 CCIMs and visitors at ICSC RECon in Las
Vegas, May 22–25. CCIMs booked more than 260
tables to meet with their clients at CCIM’s exhibit
booth.
Our alliance with the Asian Real Estate Association
of America continued with prominent CCIMs among
the featured speakers, including CCIM Senior Instruc-
tor Carmela Ma, CCIM, at AREAA’s Commercial National Forum in
Las Vegas, May 21. As international commercial investors from Asia
continue to seek credentialed professionals they can trust to structure
deals in the United States, many look to CCIMs.
Another strategic alliance continues as CCIM partners with ALM
Real Estate Media Group — publishers of Real Estate Forum and
GlobeSt.com, as well as organizers of RealShare conferences — for
our annual conference, CCIM Th rive, Oct. 24–25, at the Grand Hyatt
Atlanta in Buckhead. Members are also encouraged to attend the
governance meetings, Oct. 24–28, which help to drive the vision of
CCIM Institute and shape its role in our industry.
Providing dynamic technology and networking resources and
striving to help members become more successful is our main goal.
We hope our members take advantage of these alliances to enhance
their businesses.
