Temperature dropped to freezing?
Bob Nudd shows you how to go from...
C
atching on commercial venues during in
winter can be hit-and-miss but even on the
coldest days fish will feed - although it may
be only for a short period. Catching them
during that short window then requires the angler
to think carefully about the tactics they uses and,
critically, their feeding.
Four-time world champion Bob Nudd has had
plenty of winter success in the past, including
match wins when he’s had to break the ice before
the start, so he knows a thing or two about
tackling frost-bitten venues. We join him on a
small day-ticket lake, in sub-zero conditions, for a
lesson on how to catch in the cold.
