Comment Christmas - Page 2

Welcome to this special Christmas issue of Comment

As the end of another year draws near it is often a time to reflect, and 2021 has certainly had its ups and downs.

The amazing resilience shown by St Helens firms never ceases to amaze me and this year business owners have fought hard not only to keep going, but to support their local communities when they needed it. If the Chamber can help you and your business in any way then please do let us know.

This month St Helens Chamber staff enjoyed a Chamber Planning Day, aimed at helping staff to get to know new colleagues, reconnect with existing colleagues after lockdown, share ideas and learn more about the future vision of the Chamber, find out more about what we discussed on page 11.

We also got in to the Christmas spirit and hosted our annual Chamber Christmas Quiz at bocboc, Eccleston and Women in Business Festive Lunch at Mercure, St Helens. With the Christmas season now in full swing, there was no better time to gather Chamber Members and local businesses to celebrate with fantastic company and food. Head over to page 10 to see who was crowned the Christmas Quiz winning team.

Thank you for your continued support, and on behalf of the whole St Helens Chamber team I would like to wish you a happy and healthy Christmas period, and look forward to working with you in the new year ahead.

Kind regards

Tracy Mawson

Chief Executive
