If you have ever been interested in a career in the Public Relations field, here is your
chance to get the 411. On May 23rd 2013, the Communication department here at Cal State San Bernardino will be coming together for the huge Spring Into Media: Pros and CONversations event.
There students will have access to a panel full of PR experts that will provide information which could possibly shape their futures.
The Public Relations panel will have Jessica Valle who has worked directly with President Obama, Carrie Gilbreth who
will be representing Westbound Communication, and Christopher Perez who owns his own PR consulting firm.
With these big names giving their insight students will be flooded with the “howto’s”
of Public Relations communication.
This panel will provide information on some of the hottest public relations topics today.
There will be discussions on Political Public Relations when dealing with campaigns coming from Jessica Valle who worked on the 2012 presidential campaign.
Also if students are interested in working in a firm setting and want to know the Do’s and Don’ts Carrie Gilbreth will be offering her first hand experience.
For students who are looking to become their own boss, and want to build their empire Chris Perez is the go-to guy.
There will also be other Public Relations Reps. at the event who will be looking to mix and mingle with our students. PR can be a hard field to break into when you don’t know where to start, but this panel will be providing a starting point and major connections for those students who need a place to start.
