Comcast IT utilizes .NET Framework 4 for a enhanced UI experience, SOA
platform for modular development and widely deploys J2EE/Web services. It

“Tough times make you innovate”
In 1947, John Walson started to sell TV sets in a small city in Pennsylvania. Soon his sales dropped due to poor signal caused by the
surrounding mountains. So, Walson erected an antenna on a local
mountain and connected it to his appliance store and used signal
boosters. He also connected several of his customers’ home located
along the cable path and thus was the first Cable TV system started.
