IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Widarapayung Beach is located in the village of Widarapayung,
Binangun district, Cilacap regency, Central Java, Indonesia. It
was named Widarapayung because located in the village
Widarapayung area, which is about 35 km to the east of
Cilacap. This tourism object offers a panorama of beautiful
beaches, traditional ceremonies and art area, a relatively regular
sea waves and is suitable for Surfing.
The locals usually called Pantai Indah Widarapayung and to
reach this beautiful beach is very easy to use public transport
buses majoring in Cilacap – Gombong or personal vehicle
because it is located in the South Cross Road – South. Existing
facilities at Pantai Indah Widarapayung: paved roads, shelters
(shelter), Sentry Pandang, Swimming Pool, Parking, Public
Eating, and Regional Arts. In shura performed ritual ceremonies
Traditional Indigenous Land Alms for larungan offerings to the
sea, accompanied by the local arts and Traditional Clothes.
Access to get Widarapayung Beach there are two routes. From
the east; past the border Kebumen (Ayah Beach Kebumen –
Cilacap (Jetis Coast) with a bridge across the Kali Bodo –
westward – toward the location on the left side of the road.
From the west; from the city of Cilacap – District Adipala –
eastwards to Dsitrict Binangun – to reach the location on the
right path.
