game details + entertainment NATIONAL ANTHEM On hand to interpret the National Anthem for the hearing impaired is Kimberly Duncan. Today’s Colors will be presented by sailors from Patrol Squadron 45 based at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Jocelyn Geronimo is a Florida native and grew up in Atlantic Beach. She is currently the Performing Arts Director at Players by the Sea in Jacksonville Beach where she teaches vocal, dance, acting, piano and musical theatre classes. Jocelyn has lead a very successful children’s program at Players now for the past 3 years where her students have earned numerous performance awards. Her dream is to someday open up her own children’s theatre that provides performing arts scholarships to any student with a passion for the arts. When she is not teaching, she is performing on stages all over Jacksonville. Jocelyn is very excited to start working on her next project at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre choreographing The Marvelous Wonderettes in January 2018. The Disc-Connected K9s began rescuing dogs in 1992. Our fi rst rescued dog was Allie, a Border Collie/Lab mix. Since that time, we have rescued, covered veterinary costs, trained basic obedience (when necessary) taught disc (Frisbee) skills, and then qualifi ed and adopted these dogs into new homes. Through all these years, hundreds of dogs and countless hours of training, we have never once ever charged anyone one cent of money. Our program is 100% free for everyone involved in our program. Jocelyn was a member of the Roar from 1996-2000. Jocelyn remains active with the NFL Alumni Professional Cheerleaders Association volunteering as a mentor to young and upcoming dancers. Jocelyn is a wife and mother of 3 children, Jarrod (24), Logan (23), and Jillian (19). All of our performing dogs are rescued; meaning they have all come from either homeless, sheltered, rescued, adopted or abandoned backgrounds. We make the determination about whether or not we are personally going to keep a dog, or process them through our program and fi nd them new homes. There have been a couple of dogs that we adopted out and then they turned out to be the most amazing disc dogs. HALFTIME
