Artist's Bio:
My name is Colton Steeves. I was born in Ajax and I have growen up in Keswick, Ontario. I am an only child. i use my free time either playing guitar, doing archery, playing video games, or experimenting on editing softweares. I generaly only us the computer as a medium for my artwork. When creating art I strive for origionality and visual intrest. I find I use contrast alot in my works. I do this because I feel it is the stongest method to use to draw attention to a certian aspect on a peice. My favorite corse is either media arts, comunication technoligies, fitness, or english. I wish to go to york univercity to take pre-law corses, and idealy proceed on to osgood hall to get my jurus doctorate of law. My back up plan is to become a grafic designer. I feel as though I do my best work in any grafic design course, because I feel as though I have great artistic vision but lack the natural talents required to do actual art. My favorite teacher is miss Richards. I seek to envok and emotional reaction from the observers of my art, whether it be comical or a deeper reaction. I hope that you have found my art to be impressive throughout the semester.
