There was an uproar when the sitting
president of Nigeria said his wife belongs to
the kitchen amongst others who have being
at the mercy of public scrutiny and backlash
because they came out with a line or two
which stroke hard the female world. They
said it was a sexist speech but let us ask this?
Do women indeed not belong in the kitchen
and other rooms? For what is worth is that
not what the Bible that this world believes
in so much urges women to do for their
husbands? Truth be told, I believe President
Buhari was taken out of context because we
all know so well his wife is well educated
and he is in the known of it. Whilst some
females are busily using the movement
for the general better good. To inspire and
encourage, to help the afflicted and fight for
the dejected, many have done nothing as

trash---feeling anything that does not sit
well with them is a stereotypical speech.
Being a feminist has nothing to do with
women. It has everything to do with being
human and doing unto the next person
what you would not wish for yourself. Yet
sadly, females these days are chime the song
of feminism depending on where they are
sat on the table during a discussion.

that has happened to someone who has come
out as a lesbian is not literally being stoned to

from what could happen to any female who
has decided to take that back road ‘home’. Such
a daunting fate surely awaits her. The basic
truth is, a typical Ghanaian would steer clear
off any topic that has anything to do with
sex or would eventually land them to have
a conversation around it. So imagine talking
about something as distasteful as lesbianism.?
One is immediately chastised and labelled
with the worst words to ever walk this earth
even if they consider the act not as appalling
as the many thinks it to be . I mean, are you
not the devil himself if you find your fellow
