GiST [ Kevin PRINCE BOATENG ] He is the latest addition to the catalans. How about the black stars? F or Ghanaian Barcelon fans, this is warm and welcoming news – their very own at Camp Nou. How often do Ghanaians get the opportunity to play for such prestigious clubs, any- way? It’s news worth celebrat- ing. Germany born Ghanaian football player Kevin Prince Boateng made a surprise move to Barce- lona during the January trans- fer season. This move caused a mixed reaction on social media with foot- ball fans expressing their opinion about the player’s decision to play for the Catalans of Barcelona. The ex-Black star player has however been praised by many for joining the club and have been call- ing for his inclusion into the men’s national football team – the Black Stars. Kelvin Prince Boateng was amongst a list of players who were taken out of the men’s nation team of Ghana following an abysmal performance at Brazil 2014 World Cup tournament and the fracas between the players and management team. Kelvin Prince Boateng has not commented on the latest suggestions by Ghanaian foot- ball fans. It is obvious the now Catalan wants to focus on his career at Camp Nou before focusing on other matters. He is the brother of German men’s national football player, Jerome Boateng.
