turns festive with several festivals and beaches
offering an array of spectacles. Chale Wote festival
and Tidal Rave are top of our list for 2019. Check
out the beach and resorts you can visit to enjoy

This annual arts and culture
festival takes places in July at
Jamestown, Accra. Artists from
across the world showcase their
works at this street festival. If you
love arts then this is the event to
watch out for.
Kokrobite Beach : The atmosphere here is
partying and merrymaking and on this regard
superior to other beaches at the suburbs of Accra. At
night, the beach turns frenzy with bonfire
celebrations characterized by singing, dance and
drumming. Kokrobite is a place you might want to
try out this holiday season.
Labadi Beach : Located at the western edge of
Accra is Labadi pleasure beach. This public beach has
a fascinating kilometer beachfront offering a variety
of attractions as well as activities. One important
natural phenomenon in this beach is strong winds,
which enable beach sports such as football, beach
volleyball and Frisbee.
Fete: Located just an hour’s drive west of Accra is
Tidal Rave is Ghana’s version of
Spring Break. Its the time of the
year when tertiary students throw
in their towels and run for the
waves. This beach rave is a must
attend event for anyone trying to
catch a break this summer.
