EDITOR'S LETTER FREEDOM FOR ALL ALL FOR FREEDOM A ll For One, One For All. I recall this as a Boys' Scout in elementary school at Jack and Jill School, Roman Ridge. It resounded the message of brotherhood, family and purpose. For me, Tuesdays were the best days at school. It was the only day amongst the rest of the days where we get to have extra curriculum activities. The girls had their Girls' Guide, then the drama club - the sports section - that's all I can recall at this moment. I am not sure why it was the best until in my now young adult life. Going to Mfantsipim School for my secondary education, I opted for Visual Arts; at the time, I had no idea what it is I was going in for but I was sure it wouldn't require much study- ing - I'm not lazy, I just like to be free most of the time. I like freedom. The freedom to be me - the freedom to express myself. My father made us grow in freedom and I happen to be a Libra too. Inside the Harley Davidson motor showroom, I noticed in the lounge area a huge print design on the wall with the inscription "Freedom For All, All For Freedom". Much similar to what I used to recite in my Boys' Scout days. Interest- ingly that phrase “All For One, One For All” is by Alexandre Dumas in one of his all-time clas- sic novels ‘The Three Musketeers’. Rami (Dealer- Principal) and who is now my new friend tells me, Harley Davidson is for people who seek freedom and that is undoubtedly true. Why would some- one spend so much on a motorcycle? Drive with so much finesse as if time has suddenly stopped? 8 | Colossium . October 2018 I have always dreamed of owning a Harley Davidson motorcycle and the only reason I want to do that is so I can ride and enjoy a lit- tle freedom from everything. I don't want to ride for the sport of it - No! Neither do I want to ride as a means of transportation. I want to ride for the pleasure of freedom. An ideology that seems acceptable to every Harley David- son motorcycle owner. It is with this ideology that the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) was formed. This ideology is the backbone of the Harley Davidson brand. A walk into the show- room situated in the heart of one of Ghana's prime communities, Roman Ridge and one is welcomed into 115years of this ideology and tradition. The showroom is simply amazing! This world-class ultra-modern store, has on display an array of products which include the various models of motorcycles by Harley Da- vidson, apparels, souvenirs and accessories. The Harley Davidson motorcycle showroom makes you feel legendary. The store is equipped with an in-house café – so make sure you try out their Cappuccino while you feast your eyes with all that the store has in stock for you. Test rides are also available for you. So, buck- le up and heard towards memory lane and have the ride of your life in total FREEDOM! EUGENE OSSEI
