So I'm Jacqueline Marline and I'm 17 years old, I'm from Fresno California, I'm Hispanic and Aztec, I used to go by Native American but I was mistaken. The background of my heritage is my great great grandmother was Aztec and my great great papa was Spaniard. When the Spanish were conquering the land and the women were getting raped and killed and my papa saw her and fell in love at first sight. So he put her in a hole in the ground until everything ended to save her from getting raped or even killed. Later they had children and they happened to make my nana.
My mother’s father was a full blooded Mexican from Sinaloa and my mother had very blue eyes until she hit 8 and they started to darken and now she is 51 and she has brownish greenish bluish eyes. That my mom’s side. On my dad’s side my great grandmother was Dominican and my great grandfather was Mexican and Dominican. They had my grandfather who was an only child so he was Dominican and Mexican. My dad’s mother was Mexican full blooded so then my father and brother and sister are maybe like 30% Dominican but more Mexican.
When my mom and dad came to this country they had no papers so they worked in the fields/constructions, so I really got to see their struggles.
