In honor of Veteran’s Day, we will be having a special cele-
bration to thank these fine gentlemen for their undivided commit-
ment to our country. This event will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 at
2 p.m. in the dining room. All family members and friends are
welcome to attend. Come on out and say thank you to our veterans.
Up, Up In the Air….
As we watch the Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade this
year, we can reflect on this
month’s theme which is the
anniversary of the hot air
balloon.
So we are flying high this
month. Some of our activities
include: hot air balloon foil art,
name that flying tune, aviation
trivia, history of hot air bal-
loons, hot air balloon bingo,
and theme related puzzles.
Mary Kay and Purse Show
Linda Griffey and Linda Kelly will bring their talents to Colonial Springs on Friday and Saturday,
Nov. 15 & 16. Linda Griffey will display her finely crafted purses, wallets and jewelry, as Linda
Kelly brings us the finest in Mary Kay products. Each vendor will donate a part of their sales to
our resident’s activity fund. So please come out and support our cause.
If you are a veteran or if you know a veteran, please fill out the information below and bring it to Patrice Melton
at Colonial Springs and she will add his or her name to our “Wall of Veterans.” We would like to thank all of our
veterans and this is one way we can show our respect and appreciation to those who fought for our country.
