Father’s Day Luncheon What is one thing that men like to do after they catch that big ole’ fish, well of course it is to fry it. We will be honoring all of our fathers with a special fish fry just for them on Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m. on the back patio. All families are welcome to share this special time with their father and grandfather. Come on out and enjoy listen- ing to that story about how they caught that biggest fish while spending some quality time with dad and grandpa. Pictured with them are their daughters and granddaughter. HAT DAY Mother’s Day Brunch June 14 is Flag Day across the United States. Our flag has been around since 1776 and it represents the heart and soul of all Americans both living and deceased. It is a symbol of our freedom and the dedication of our veterans and active service people. Flag Day cannot be celebrated in one day, so we are expanding it into an entire week. We will be honoring our flag with its history, a discussion on “The Grand Ole’ Flag,” flag crafts and trivia. On Thursday, we will have our own flag ceremony complete with the folding of the American flag and what each step resembles. On Friday, June 14, we will go out to our flag pole and perform a presentation of our flag, then finish with a social We all need to honor our flag because it resembles the freedom that we all stand for.
