Celebrate our Flag
On June 14, Flag Day is celebrated across
the United States. Our flag has been around
since 1776. It represents the heart and soul of
all Americans, both living and deceased. It
symbolizes our freedom and the dedication of
our veterans and active service people.
Flag Day cannot be celebrated in one day,
so we are expanding it into an entire week. We
will be honoring our flag with its history, a discussion on “The Grand Ole’ Flag, flag crafts
and trivia. On Friday, we will have our own flag
ceremony complete with the folding of the
American flag and what each step resembles.
We all need to honor our flag because it
resembles the freedom that we all stand for.

Facebook page to find out our schedule for
each activity.
