Show Your Patriotism Week…
The first week of July is the most patriotic week in America. It is a
time when we honor our country and its forefathers. We are so blessed
to live in the USA, so we will be showing everyone how proud we are to
live in America by dressing, decorating and displaying our PRIDE for
America. Each day we will conduct a special activity to reflect on our
past, present and future.
On July 4, we will have an Americana Luncheon consisting of
traditional picnic items. Who knows, we might even throw in a
watermelon or two.
Come on out and play JULY 4 bingo and eat some homemade ice
cream at 2 p.m. It’s a great way to cool off with family and friends.
Moon Over Colonial Week
This year marks the 50th
anniversary of the Apollo 11
mission with Neil Armstrong who
walked on the moon on July 20.
So many of our activities for the
last two weeks of July will consist
of cooking, exercises, crafts, trivia,
games, puzzles, songs and
experiments related to our moon
and the famous mission these
gentlemen entailed.
Come on out and join us in
some fun and exciting activities
related to the moon.
