Intergenerational Day
This month we celebrate
Week of the Young Child. We
will be visiting some very
special children at “A Step
Ahead” daycare on Tuesday,
April 17 at 9:30 am.
Children are a very important
aspect of our elderly popula-
tion’s lives. They love to see
their grandchildren visit. A child
brightens their day as soon as
he or she enters the room.

more importantly, Arbor Day
occurs this month.
We are going to combine all
of our events and call this
month Rainforest Month, cele-
brating both rain and trees.
Without one or the other, we
could not survive.
Several of our activities will
encompass animals, trees,
weather, and other wildlife that
one might find in a rain forest.
