Volunteer Tea
April Showers Bring…
As the old saying goes, “April Showers bring May Flowers.” April is
not only going to bring us showers, but it is also bringing us lots of
music, games and special days.
On Friday, April 1, Country Cross will be here to entertain by singing
gospel and country music.
Other exciting events are our volunteer party for our ladies and
gentlemen who dedicate their time helping us with our activity programs. We will also have a week dedicated to our celestial Universe.
We will also be celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day. Watch our
calendars for special activities and come join us when you can.
The residents would like to
invite all of our volunteers to a
special tea to honor the men
and women who dedicate their
time to our facility.
The tea will be held on
Tuesday, April 19 at 2 p.m. in
the dining room. This is our
little way to say Thank You.
Spring Pests
Spring has officially arrived,
and so has the potential for
those pesky little ants. We
would like to remind everyone
that if you bring in any type of
food, please place it in a
sealed container with the
resident’s name on the item.

This month we celebrate Week of the Young Child. We will be
visiting the children at A Step Ahead Daycare on Tuesday, April
5 at 10 a.m.
Children are a very important aspect of the lives of the elderly
population. They love to see their grandchildren visit. A child
brightens their day as soon as he or she enters the room.
We will take some books with us to A Step Ahead and read
to the children. Each one of our ladies and gentlemen will read
a story. This will not only benefit the children but our ladies and
gentlemen alike. I am sure there will be smiles on everyone’s
faces.
