His connection to Cashiers began in 1968 when he first visited with his soon-to-be wife, Lynn, and their family vacations at her family home on Cashiers Lake. In 1989, Wayne and his family made Cashiers their permanent home. Wayne’ s wife, Lynn, a renowned interior designer, is also active in the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau and beyond. Wayne’ s deep love for the area is reflected in his community involvement, having served on several boards, including Fishes & Loaves and the High Hampton Learning Center.

A passionate hiker, she completed the Appalachian Trail in 2013 with her two sisters after a 16-year journey. Sheila’ s family has deep roots in the Blue Ridge, giving her a strong sense of heritage and a wealth of knowledge of Cashiers and the surrounding areas. She enjoys sharing her local expertise with clients, helping them navigate the unique mountain market. Sheila lives in the Laurel Knob area of Cashiers on a portion of her original family farm.
