FROM ASHES TO HOPE: A CHARITY EVENT SUPPORTING LA FIRE VICTIMS
A star-studded charity event hosted by actress Jennifer Garner will be held on May 17th in Napa Valley. This event,“ From Ashes to Hope”, brings together Napa and LA in unity to support children and families impacted by the recent LA fires.
Napa is no stranger to fires, having faced devastating disasters in 2017 and 2020. During the early 2025 fires in LA, Jennifer’ s long-time friend Vanessa Conlin, a Master of Wine based in Napa Valley, reached out to discuss ways to bring relief to the victims of the LA fires.
Vanessa, who is experienced in both charity and professional wine auctions, quickly gathered the top vintners of the region to donate their wines and help attract bidders. Winery owners Lee and Cristina Hudson of Hudson Vineyards offered their incredible 2,000-acre property in Carneros to host the event, which will feature a walk-around tasting, a dinner prepared by Chef Elliot Bell of Charlie’ s in St. Helena, and a live auction led by auctioneer Vanessa Conlin.
