New
Opportunities
Step inside this issue, and you’ll find there’s a lot to take in. From longtime favorites to newcomers, our knowledgeable team of business and
health professionals offer up engaging content within their realm of expertise. They’re committed to helping you navigate life with confidence.
From health and wellness to business topics, count on our talented team
of contributors for the relevant information that you’ve come to expect
from LIVING WELL Magazine.
You may recognize model and actor Joe Duer on our cover from his acting roles in Charlie’s Angels, John Q., or Twisted. Joe recently visited
our featured contributor OrthoTexas Physicians and Surgeons for help
with his painful knee condition. He shares his experience on page 8.
His story illustrates that there’s hope for those suffering with similar pain.
Meanwhile, our featured celebrity on page 38, 65-year-old Rick Springfield, has maintained a magnetic presence in the public eye for decades. Perhaps known best for his musical accomplishments––25 million records sold, a Grammy Award for his smash-hit Jessie’s Girl, and
a whopping 17 Top 40 hits––Springfield has excelled in many different
roles over the years. As an actor, he’s known for his iconic part as the
dashing Dr. Noah Drake on the long-running soap opera General Hospital. Meanwhile, his recent stints on Californication and Hawaii 5-0
helped introduce Springfield to a new generation of fans. His highly
anticipated turn on the second season of the critically acclaimed HBO
drama True Detective is but one of the many new projects he has in the
works. Inside, we catch up with this ageless performer who continues to
prove that it’s never too late to explore new opportunities.
With that in mind, we hope you have an opportunity to take in everything this area has to offer during one
of our favorite times of the year––springtime. For us, it’s the best season to enjoy
relaxing outside on the patio, when the
first days of warmer temps start to appear, while reading our favorite magazines. Hopefully, you’ll make LIVING
WELL Magazine part of your required
seasonal reading.
Enjoy!
