They are everywhere. From the Airport: Sahm in Apgujeong, and if you feel like bowling, we recommend Pierrot Strike, also in Apgujeong. [Hongdae is an artsy, college neighborhood in Mapo-gu in the western end of Seoul] Big Phony: I love drinking out in front of convenience stores. Most of them have plastic picnic tables and chairs out front. Soju is only a buck and there’s an endless variety of Korean snacks and beer food. Very common thing to do. From the Airport: Itaewon, the perfect town for beer or cocktails.
