The archeologic remains of the ancient Jesuit cloister are situated in a
central position in a site that is otherwise split space. Its presence still
holds significant weight on the site. The intervention will create a continu-
ous plane in which the historical footrprint adds onto the presence of the
present culture. The substrate of the pursuit of knowledge and research
becomes the unifying element. This continuous space contains the pro-
grammatic content and places them in a limitless value of stagnant spaces.
Thus, this proposal will create a continuous route that connects the urban
tissue and its history, with nature and the landscape, through the footprint
of the past: the ruins.
