FACILITY ACCREDITATION EMBLEM NOW AVAILABLE AS DECAL

by letting everyone
know your veterinary
facility meets
provincial standards
and supports safe,
quality animal care.
Due to significant demand, the College is
expanding the permitted uses for the emblem.
You are now welcome to include the emblem
in e-mail signatures. As well, the College now
has window decals avalable.
The Facility Accreditation Emblem is available
for use by veterinary facilities which have
received a Certificate of Accreditation in
Ontario. The emblem was launched last fall
and available for use on facility websites and
on social media sites.
• The facility meets or exceeds the provincial
standards for veterinary facilities
The emblem is voluntary and the College is
pleased to report several hundred facilities are
now displaying the emblem online!

Accreditation Emblem demonstrates:
• The veterinary facility provides a safe
environment for animal care
• The equipment and pharmaceuticals are
appropriate for the services the animal will
receive

CVO WELCOMES DR. KIM LAMBERT IN QUALITY PRACTICE
The College is pleased to welcome Dr. Kim
Lambert, a licensed veterinarian, who has
recently joined the College as Senior Partner,
Quality Practice.
At the College, Dr. Lambert leads the quality
practice team which includes Dr. Susan
Sabatini, Practice Advisory; Aneeta Bharij,
Principal, Accreditation; and Megan Callaway,
Principal, Quality Practice.
Dr. Lambert completed her Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine degree at the Ontario
Veterinary College (OVC) and a Master of
Science in Epidemiology from the Department
of Population Medicine at OVC. Dr. Lambert’s
research investigated reasons for companionanimal relinquishment.
Throughout her career, Dr. Lambert has
worked as both a large and small animal
veterinarian.
In 2014, Dr. Lambert completed her Master
of Science degree at the Ontario Veterinary
College - her research focused on shelter
animals and the reason for surrender. Prior
to joining the CVO, Dr. Lambert managed the
Clinical Communication Program at the OVC.
