The Transition Council supports the development of the College of Veterinary Professionals of Ontario by proposing regulations and determining by-laws and standards.
The proposed regulatory concepts are open for consultation until April 16, 2025. The Transition Council will review consultation feedback at a spring meeting and then share the proposed concepts with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness, who will develop the regulatory language.
The Transition Council will also be working on drafting the by-laws and the standards to support the Veterinary Professionals Act.
The College is pleased to answer your questions on the modernization process. Please contact the Practice Advisory Service( practiceadvice @ cvo. org) for assistance.
