The Ontario Superior Court of Justice has ordered a dog boarding facility and unlicensed individuals in Woodstock to refrain from practising veterinary medicine .
The College initiated proceedings against Tracy Dawn Hiuser and the business Woof ! Pet Wellness Resort , John Huigenbos , and Lillian Campbell ( respondents ) as there was evidence suggesting that they were practising veterinary medicine and advertising his licence was suspended for two months .
The case involved the member ’ s auxiliary dispensing drugs without a veterinarian-client-patient relationship .
The panel found the member failed to meet the standard of practice for a dog with renal failure by not providing intravenous fluids , not properly investigating , assessing and / or treating the severe changes on the bloodwork , providing inappropriate therapy , and failing to properly record assessments in the medical record .
As well as having his licence suspended , the penalty includes a reprimand , an assessment and

On February 26 , 2024 , the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ordered the respondents to refrain from engaging in the practice of veterinary medicine . The Judgment also awarded the College $ 30,000 .
The Judgment states :
THIS COURT ORDERS the Respondents to comply with section 11 of the Veterinarians Act , RSO 1990 , mentorship , a learning module on medical record-keeping , a peer review of medical records , and an order to pay costs to the College of $ 5,000 .
