PEER ADVISORY CONVERSATION AVAILABLE FOR YOU !

Ready to enhance your practice and focus your continuing professional development on the things that matter to your clients and patients ?
Are you a solo practitioner who is craving dialogue with a peer ? Looking for reassurance that your practice is at the level of your fellow practitioners ? New to the profession and seeking feedback that will help you to set a plan for your continuing professional development with confidence ?
If you identify with any of the above questions , then the Peer Advisory Conversation is for you !
After comprehensive development and pilot-testing the College has launched the Peer Advisory Conversation as its core Quality Assurance program . As a voluntary program , licensed veterinarians can choose to volunteer to participate any time .
The goal of the program is to provide a positive learning experience and support for veterinarians in the delivery of safe , competent care that is consistent with current practice standards and in the best interest of those they serve .
A veterinarian , trained as a Peer Advisor by the College , conducts the conversation . This is an opportunity for you to share your practice experiences with a colleague and reflect on your professional knowledge , skills , and development . The conversation promotes reflective practice and provides tools and resources to assist veterinarians in their professional development .
Participation can be logged as a CPD activity . And it ’ s free .
Consider volunteering today and learn how to realize and achieve your educational goals by making the most of your continuing professional development .
