I’m still completely obsessed with weird video games (Dark Souls,
Shadow of the Colossus, the Secret World--actually, one of the poems is about Dark Souls) and the idea that there’s always some kind
of secret in the world peering at you from behind a corner, something
you know is there but can’t quite touch. I’m currently reading Canto
a su amor desaparecido by Raul Zurita and The Guest Cat by Takashi
Hiraide. Currently finishing up a manuscript of poems, working on
http://seventhproject.weebly.com/, and trying to figure out how to
write a graphic novel.

In the last year I have fallen in love with the band The Oh
Hellos. They are a band that I really don’t get tired of.
Everytime I listen to their music I notice something new.
Their music makes you think and have a magical way of being
relatable to anyone.
Michael Gungor is one of my
personal heroes in terms of
music-making. In his book,
which is hilarious by the
way, he challenges the music
industry and what it means to
be Christian and an artist.
