Harrison’ s 1964 SG Standard helped define the Beatles’ mid-period sound from 1966 to 1968, its humbuckers cutting through the Revolver era and beyond. He later gifted the guitar to Pete Ham of Badfinger, who can be seen playing it in numerous videos— carrying its legacy into Apple Records’ next generation.
