EVENTS AND EXHIBITIONS INCORPORATING COLD CHAIN FRIGAIR Expo 2015 – the place to be By: Ilana Koegelenberg, Matthew Wood and Kelly-Ann Prinsloo W ith over 4 000 visitors and 140 exhibitors, the 3-5 June FRIGAIR Expo 2015 was the biggest one to date, breaking all previous show records! What a week it was for the whole HEVAC&R industry. Hall 5, and part of Hall 6, at Gallagher Conference Centre in Midrand was adorned with brightly coloured custom stands last month for the continent’s only dedicated HEVAC&R expo. Exhibitors went all out for this three-yearly show to put on a world-class display for the visitors. From live demonstrations to lucky prize giveaways and amazing coffee – the halls were buzzing with activity at any given time, much to the delight of exhibitors and organisers alike. The informative Ashrae short courses that ran alongside the exhibition were fully booked and the international lecturers gave talks of the highest calibre. Various international visitors and partners also attended the show. This year’s show not only had the greatest amount of visitors, but looked the best from a stand point of view – exhibitors definitely upped their game. Have a look at what this year’s show offered… We asked each exhibitor what they hoped to achieve out of show and why they thought visitors of the show should come visit their stands.
