Storage is now incorporating the
Storax Ramada Ranger Shuttle as an
important addition to its product line-
up to southern Africa. The shuttle is as
space efficient as mobile racking and
its flexible design suits all load shapes
and sizes.
It can support a pallet load
weight of up to 2 000kg and boasts Kobold, represented locally by
Instrotech, has on offer model MAN-SD
intelligent digital manometers, which
offer reliable pressure monitoring
of plant and machinery and has
application in the fields of mechanical
engineering, environmental
technology, and hydraulics. These
battery-powered devices, which are
fitted with piezo-resistive sensors, resist
overloads up to three times
nominal loading.
There is a choice between
24 measuring ranges, and the
manometer can be installed in such
a way that the easy-to-use four-digit
LCD display can be very easily read, as
both the process connection and the
front cover are rotatable.
Operation is simple and convenient
using three function buttons on the
film-covered keypad. The zero point
can be set automatically using the
zero function, and a freely-selectable
password offers protection against
incorrect or unintentional operation.
Models with analogue or relay
output are available. This robust
pressure measuring device fulfils
an operating temperature range of
-28 to 40°C. It works with all types of
pallets and offers greater selectivity
than drive-in racks, since each level
can hold a different product. It also
reduces forklift damage as pallets are
deposited in the front of the rack; the
rest of the work is left to the shuttle.
