LATEST EXPANSIONS The most recent cold storage additions to Douglasdale's collection was a distribution depot cold room in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This cold room received milk and Amazi from the Fourways bottling plant 1 to be distributed to surrounding areas in the South of Johannesburg. The cold room with a volume of roughly 1 000 cubic metres was ordered early in 2020 with a view to start breaking ground early in the year and completing around April 2020, however with the Covid-19 crisis emerging right in the middle of the project, it was paused and started again during May to be completed, bar a few snags, in June 2020.
