NEWS INCORPORATING COLD CHAIN Vaughn Hassett joins team Keystar O n 1 March, Vaughn Hassett started at Keystar as their new manager: Programmable Solutions, bringing with him many years of experience in a variety of relevant areas. Hassett is a great asset to Keystar, as he boasts 25 years of experience in PLC programming/commissioning and fault finding; 20 years in project management, HVAC&R systems, remote connectivity, and data analytics; and 15 years of experience as a manager. His main objective is to establish a fully functional programmable solutions team who will uplift the Keystar brand and offer a great support platform for all who use their product. “I believe that the customer is always important, no matter how big or how small, and we will continue to take pride in every solution that is offered to them,” said Hassett. Joining the company was a good move for Hassett, because although he is still involved in the same field and environment, it now allows him to broaden his scope and it gives him the opportunity to work with programmable controllers that he has not worked with before. “The move will be good for me because I will be at the forefront of new technologies and I will have the opportunity to build a team that will offer these technologies to the HVAC&R industry,” says Hassett. But it’s not just about the technology. “After meeting with the staff and owners of Keystar, prior to my employment, I immediately realised that they are a team who respects their fellow employees and have an unconditional obligation to fulfil their customers’ requests,” he explains. “Over the past month of my employ, I have come to witness that they are a fantastic team, and I am confident that the relationships with all the Keystar staff and their customers are going to be a fulfilling and fruitful one, which is exactly how it should be.” For now, Hassett’s plans are to become an expert in the programmable solutions that Keystar has to offer and to continue with the same excellent support levels they have always supplied to their customers.
