FRIGAIR 2021 runs from 9-11 June at the
Gallagher Convention Centre. Specialised
Exhibitions dubs the Show as the largest
dedicated HEVAC&R trade exhibition in
Africa. Organised in partnership with the
South African Institute of Refrigeration and
Airconditioning (SAIRAC), it takes place
every three years. The 2021 Exhibition
will run under the theme ‘Showcasing
the crucial role played by the HEVAC&R
industry and the rapidly developing
technology in eco-friendly efficiency’.
Each Show gets bigger and better,
adding more value to all involved.
FRIGAIR 2018 saw shecco, a market
accelerator for climate-friendly heating,
cooling and refrigeration solutions based
in Belgium, make its first debut in Africa.
shecco held the very first ATMOsphere
networking event giving the expo an
international flair and promoting the
uptake of natural refrigerants in South
Africa and beyond.
Short courses and seminars from industry
associations like, ASHRAE and SAIRAC had
the industry excited, with many signing up
and space running out! Topics discussed
included VRF systems, designing for high
performing buildings, looking at healthcare
