INCORPORATING COLD CHAIN the added challenges of working under strict COVID-19 safety protocols, Panel World successfully delivered a high-quality insulation solution. Muller confirms that the manufacturing capacity to handle such a large order was not a significant hurdle, as panel production is generally faster than installation. The timing of the project, coinciding with a period of lower workload following the initial COVID-19 lockdowns, also facilitated resource allocation.
While Panel World has experience with other cold room projects for the pharmaceutical industry and has also worked on cannabis cultivation facilities( which share similar stringent requirements), the scale of this pharmaceutical cold storage facility was exceptional. This project is representative of Panel World ' s ability to handle large, technically demanding projects requiring specialised panels and precise installation, contributing significantly to the energy efficiency and operational integrity of critical cold storage infrastructure for the pharmaceutical sector.
