With 1 010 exhibitors from 49 countries and 32 796 trade visitors , Chillventa 2024 was a complete success and was all about connecting experts .
Over the coming months , we ’ ll be profiling the stands and products from these exhibitors , highlighting the innovations and solutions that will soon be available in the South African market . As the refrigeration , air conditioning and heat pump sectors continue to evolve , Chillventa 2024 served as a vital platform for industry leaders to share insights and showcase their cuttingedge technologies .
The event proved to be an outstanding success , packed to the rafters and offering an invaluable opportunity for experts to come together , network and discuss the future of the industry . If Chillventa 2024 is anything to go by , Frigair 2025 will be an enormous success . HVAC & R expos are not only about showcasing the latest innovations but also about fostering conversations on critical topics like sustainability , the circular economy , and the digitalisation of HVACR technologies .

Cold Link Africa attended Chillventa 2024 , held in Nuremberg , Germany , keen to connect with companies that have a presence in South Africa .
300 delegates and featured high-calibre presentations from international thought leaders . Topics discussed included energy transition , refrigerants and the role of heat pumps in achieving sustainability goals . The diverse and high-quality programme of the congress , along with four focused forums and practical special presentations , ensured that attendees left with actionable insights and the latest industry knowledge .
The exhibitors at Chillventa 2024 were overwhelmingly satisfied with the results of the event . Around 95 % of them rated their participation as a success , with most reporting new business contacts and positive prospects for post-show deals .
Reflecting on the value of the event , 94 % of exhibitors confirmed they would be returning for Chillventa 2026 , underlining the ongoing importance of this trade fair in the refrigeration and HVAC & R sectors .
Among the countries with the largest exhibitor presence were Germany , Italy , Turkey , China , Spain , Belgium , the UK , France , Poland and the US . This diverse mix of exhibitors helped create a dynamic and comprehensive show that catered to all aspects of the industry .
