Refco’s extensive range of products includes professional tools and components, not only for household appliances, but also for the automotive industry and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration. Brand new products, such as the wireless temperature and pressure (TAP) set, as well as the popular condensate pumps, attracted a great deal of interest. The absolute highlight of the celebration was the gala dinner, which was held in a very special location in Lucerne. At the world- famous Hotel Schweizerhof, the more than 100 customers, together with 70 Refco employees, enjoyed the entertainment with their partners. Ulrich took this opportunity to reveal the company’s future plans. “We plan to not only maintain the high level of quality for the products, but also to offer the services that are expected and of great importance for a good customer relationship,” he said. Plans also include a focus on technical and administrative support, both locally and at the head office. To support the intended future growth in new markets, an increase in resources, mainly on senior management level, is also envisaged. “All in all, Refco is ready for future challenges,” said Ulrich. “Together with a highly motivated team of business partners, customers, and employees, we plan to build successful and long- lasting relationships.” SA VISITORS Refco is locally distributed by AC&R Components in Cape Town. As such, Trevor and Gregory Dyer of AC&R also travelled to Switzerland for the festivities. Refco and AC&R Components have a history dating back 30 years. It was Bruno Mock, the original owner of Refco, who Customers also had the opportunity to visit the various manufacturing facilities to see for themselves where and how the many different products are produced.
