Refco celebrates 45 years of quality manufacturing

By Ilana Koegelenberg To celebrate its development as well as manufacturing in the global HVAC & R industry since 1972 , Refco held an event in Switzerland on 14 – 15 September 2017 , inviting more than 100 guests from 30 different countries .

The team decided that instead of waiting five years for the customary landmark , they would rather celebrate the exceptional 45-year occasion with customers , business partners , and employees alike . The management of Refco took the opportunity to thank everybody involved in its success story for their contribution in making it happen .

“ Long-lasting relationships in over 80 countries , together with the renowned Swiss-quality Refco products , have made this brand a worldwide landmark in the industry ,” explained Manfred P Ulrich , CEO of the company . Today , more than 95 % of Refco ’ s total sales are exported . “ Customer-orientated solutions , certified quality , and international approvals are but a few contributors to the company ’ s global success .”
Expansion into new markets is not complete , Ulrich explained . “ On the basis of sound financial resources , the company is optimistic about the future . Based on newly developed products in attractive designs , this will ensure that the focus is on the delivery of top-quality products and components .”
MADE IN SWITZERLAND
During an evening event , guests from around the world were introduced to Swiss folklore and typical Swiss food . Customers also had the opportunity to visit the Refco manufacturing facility , as well as Manometer AG and Feinwerktechnik Wiegand AG , to see for themselves where and how the many different products are produced .
