Puregas awards partners

On 27 September last year , Puregas ’ s Annual Partnership Awards were held at the World Trade Centre in Morningside to give back to their loyal customers and suppliers .

The theme for the event was ‘ Driving vision to reality ’ and as always , the focus was to acknowledge their customers , with the main emphasis being on the results of the safety audits done by their technical manager , Grant

Philip Cloete , managing director of Puregas , officially kicked things off with an overview of both the industry and the company over the past 12 months , highlighting challenges as well as victories — for example , installing its first CO 2 plant in Namibia for Coca Cola .
Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the progress made with installing the new 500m ³ butane storage vessel . After two years of planning and regulatory approvals , this project is
will improve Puregas ’ s ability to ensure the continuity of propellant supply to its partners during shortages .
“ In general , we have had a good year ,” said Cloete . “ It had its challenges , but we are looking forward to the new year and the opportunities it will bring .”
Guest speaker Clem Sunter gave an informative adaptation on how to be a fox and to juggle ideas and adapt to how the world is changing . Sunter highlighted the cloudy and clockwork flags changing the global business game , leaving guests enlightened on the importance of leadership and nurturing entrepreneurial spark .
