During the week prior to the official launch
of the South African ASHRAE chapter in
July, the association’s president and other
committee members (international and
local) went around the country to meet
with key stakeholders.
To date, they have had decidedly
fruitful and successful meetings with the
following (among others):
• The Engineering Council of South Africa
(ECSA), with the intent of becoming
a voluntary association and having
ASHRAE’s technical courses accredited.
