Quali Component Parts displayed their new product: a
write-able-erasable LED display for fridge stores. Lourens
Kriel (owner) provided demonstrations of the product and
shared how they have partnered with European brands to
offer hardware components and local assembly to supply
cold room manufacturers.

Recam returned to the show to show off some of their
latest heat exchanger products. Frikkie Fourie, Recam
final assembly manager (left), and Kirk McKelvey,
production manager, launched the new, more efficient
HI300 and 400 at the show.
Refrimate SA had a lot to see on their stand. Mohamed
Moolla (left) and Faizel Patel of Refrimate were at
the show to showcase their wide range of products,
including condensing units, blower coils, domestic and
commercial compressors, and tools. They also had R290
compressors and other new-to-market products.
There were 136 visitors at FRIGAIR from
outside our borders as well,
85 of which came from African countries.
Regal Beloit South Africa, with its impressive purple
stand, showed off its Elco permanent magnet electric
commutated motors (ECM) and the Elco electronic
compact fan (ECF), specially designed for commercial
refrigeration applications; the Genteq DecStar high-
efficiency blower; and the Marathon Ultemax Axial PM
Motor. Representing the Regal stand, from left: Sujeeth
Ramkhelawan, project manager; Sharde Sindicich,
internal sales; and Clayton Theron, electrical sales
engineer.
Rickard Air Diffusion displayed an entire range of
diffusers linked to the controls of diffusers. “It is a user-
friendly product for contractors. There’s also software
available to help contractors set up,” said Christiaan
Bosch, pictured centre, with Mark Rickard on left, and
Kirsty Cox. He further added that the software has an
extended control system to include pressure control
dampers and more.
